Silverton Winter Follies/Talent Show - Get Your Act Together!
KSJC Community Radio and A Theatre
Group are teaming up to present “Silverton Winter Follies - Get Your Act Together” as part of this year’s Snowscape Weekend. The event
is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, at Kendall Mountain Lodge and will showcase local talent to chase away the winter doldrums.
All acts are welcome. To sign up, call 387-5857. Actual talent is not required.

School Booster Club Winter Carnival
Open to the public, this event is a fund raiser for the Silverton School kids. This is a time to
support the school, have some fun, enjoy some laughs, participate in the silent auction and win prizes.

Kendall Mountain BBQ, Music & More
Celebrate the Snowscape weekend with a day of skiing, snowboarding,
sledding, ice skating. Weather-permitting, we’ll have a BBQ and music out on the deck.

Snow Golf Tournament
Please join us for SnowGolf at our 9-hole par-3 scramble. Comprised of two-person teams,
It’s a shotgun start at Noon so bring your bags & boots. Snowmobile carts are welcomed and encouraged but not required. Limited
to 18 teams so sign up early!

Purchase a numbered ball, the first ball through

are available for donations of $3 for one ball and $5 for two. Get yours at the Silverton Youth Center, Public Health Office, or Kendall
Mountain Ski Area on the weekends. Tickets will also be available the day of the event.

Annual Cardboard Derby
KSJC Mountain Radio is the proud sponsor of the Cardboard Derby to be held on the steep hill at Kendall Mountain
Ski Area. Teams will construct their crafts solely of cardboard, tape, string, glue, and paper and compete against each other in speed,
artistic merit, technical innovation, and team spirit.

1st Annual Silverton Dummy Downhill
The Wyman Hotel is the
proud sponsor of the 1st annual "Dummy Downhill" competition. Winner of this competition will receive the 'Silverton Cup' which will
have the winners name engraved onto the cup, each year. A team of judges will pick the winner who will compete amongst each other
in speed, artistic merit, technical innovation and best crash.

Winter Escape Parade
Line up along Blair street for a true winter parade. Snowmobiles,
Sparking Sleds and Skiers are all welcome to participate. The parade route is set for 11th & Greene to 14th Street and down to
the Kendall Mountain Rec Area.

1st Annual Nightime Skiing & Fireworks
Ski
under the lights from 5 pm to 9 pm and listen to the music provided by Pat Swonger. Yes, the Town of Silverton, Bill & Nipper
Alsup and Rodger Wrublik are going to put in some temporary light towers, that will light up the blue slope. This is a one-time night-time
event. Please, come and support this. The more that show, the better our chances will be to make this permanent. Fireworks will start
at 8 pm.

Fee: Adults $15 & Children $10 - A seperate ski lift pass must be purchased
for this one-time event. All proceeds will go to paying for the fireworks, rented lights and town staff employees, to put this event
on.
Movie Night
Watch "The Shining" on the 'Big Screen'. Lay out your sleeping bags & pillows and enjoy the
movie (please, bring your own gear). Parents & children are welcome but no daycare is available.

Sunday - February 14th
High Altitude Snowshoe
Race
5K & 10K Backcountry Loops. The 5K track travels from the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area almost to Arrastra Gulch and loops
back around. The 10K loop starts on the same track as the 5K and continues up Arrastra Gulch back through Aspentown and down Lackawanna
back to the KMRA. This is a group tour, but if you want to race we’ll certainly cheer you on… Registration will be available at the
Kendall Mountain Community Center.

This years dance will take place at the Kendall Mountain
