Silverton’s own theatre company, invites you to see a play Silverton-style. This mountain grown theatre company
offers a variety of entertaining productions throughout the year.
2010 is A Theatre Group's 22nd Season! Celebrate
with them throughtout the summer by attending one of their productions. Please call to find out the latest. Productions are prefomred
at various venues around town.
Mission: To foster the artistic development of the professional, emerging and community artist.
Step Back in Time
Date: June 5th & 6th
This event is still in the planning stages. All details should be finalized by
no later than March 1st. This event will definietly take place, we only need to finialize the details.
Some of our
ideas so far:
A Murder Mystery /Train Package and ideally we would like to involve the Theatre Group, Gunfighters,
Silverton Brass Band, local hotels and restaurants, a trolley tour and cemetary tour. We'd also like to have an Ice Cream
Social, a fashion show and hopefully a band and dance. It would be really nice if we could get as many of the towns
people as possilbe to dress up in Victorian attire. More details will be availble once we get a chance to talk this over
with the committee. This will happen after Snowscape weekend.
Location & Sponsor: This will take place all around Silverton
but the main sponsor for this event will be the Grand Imperial Hotel

Annual Brass Band Festival
Free Brass Band Concerts all weekend, featuring musicians from all over the country. Practice Only
from the 15th to the 19th. Open to the Public - Friday @ 7:00pm - Saturday at 12:00 noon and again at 7:00pm, Sunday @ noon. All concerts
to be held at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area
