Silverton, Colorado is a historic, victorian style, mining town, nestled in the San Juan Mountains. We're extremely proud of our heritage and have so much to share. From our 'must see' mining museum & original jail house to our countless number of historical buildings & sites, Silverton is truly the perfect place to "Step Back in Time". Ride up on the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train or just take the scenic drive. Either way, you will treasure the experience for the rest of your life!
